The video submission phase of the competition is now closed. Judges are reviewing all State Winner video submissions. Tune back in on or around March 18th to find out if your school has advanced to the National Finalist phase of the competition, earning your school a $50K prize package of Samsung products and classroom materials!
Prize tiers
National Winners
Three National Winner schools receive a $100K prize package including Samsung products and classroom resources.

National Finalists
10 schools will be named National Finalists and chosen to receive a $50K prize package including Samsung products and classroom resources, plus a trip to TBD location to pitch their solution for a chance to become a National Winner.

Sustainability Innovation Award
1 State Winner showing consideration for environmental impact will receive a $25,000 prize pack of Energy Star Certified Samsung products.

Rising Entrepreneurship Award
1 State Winner showing great promise in STEM skills and the ability to produce their solution for their local community will receive a $25,000 prize package of Samsung products.

State Winners
50 schools will be named State Winner and receive a $12,000 prize package of Samsung Products.

State Finalists
300 schools will be named State Finalists and chosen to receive a $2,500 prize package of Samsung Products for their school.

Who is eligible?
Public and charter school teachers serving students in grades 6–12 are eligible to enter. Only schools that are at least 50% publicly funded are eligible to compete. See FAQs for more information.
