How to control your camera with the Galaxy Watch Active2
Use your Galaxy Watch Active2 to take photos and videos remotely. It's great for capturing the perfect selfie from a distance.
Make sure that your Galaxy Watch Active2 is paired with your mobile device before following the below steps.
In order to download and use the camera controller, you will need to ensure the software on your Galaxy Watch Active2 is up to date.

Tap the Galaxy Store icon on your Galaxy Watch Active2.

Tap "Search".

Tap "Camera Controller", then tap "Install".

Tap the tick icon to grant permissions.

Tap "OK" to continue.

Once installed, launch the Camera Controller app on your Galaxy Watch Active2.

The Camera app on your mobile device will launch automatically. Select your preferred camera mode, then position the subject in the frame.

Tap the camera shutter button on your Galaxy Watch Active2 to take a photo.

Tap the thumbnail to view the photo on your Galaxy Watch Active2 screen. The photo will be saved in the Gallery app on your Galaxy Watch Active2 and your mobile device.

To return to the camera, press the Back button.

Set a 5 second delay to the shutter by tapping the timer icon at the top of the screen on your Galaxy Watch Active2.

To take a video remotely, switch to Video mode in the Camera app on your mobile device. Then, use the Galaxy Watch Active2 to start and stop the video recording.
