TV installation
What this service includes
We offer two installation options for TVs. You can either have your TV set-up onto its stand, or we can wall mount it for you. See what each service includes and what you need to do prior to installation below.
You can also arrange for your old TV to be collected and recycled or disposed of, for an additional cost. Don’t forget to check whether the Trade Up promotion is available on the TV you are purchasing, as you could get a discount on your new TV, as well as free collection and recycling or disposal. Simply select YES to Trade Up, if available, before you add your new TV to basket.
Wall mount installation
What this service includes
- Delivery and unpacking your TV
- Securing TV on supplied stand, in a room of your choice
- Connecting TV to WiFi and aerial or satellite dish, where applicable
- Connecting up to 2 x HDMI devices (e.g. Sky box or games console)
- Removal and disposal of all packaging
What this service doesn’t include
- A wall mount bracket. You can add one to you order here or you can buy one from our installation partner on the day
- Concealing cables. However, our installation partner can do this for an additional charge, as long as you have the necessary trunking.
- Connecting your TV to a soundbar or other AV products that form part of your order
- If your old TV is fitted to a wall, we will be unable to uninstall it for you
What you need to do
- Before you order, choose the best TV size for your room. See our TV buying guide for more information
- Make sure you have enough space on your wall for the TV you’ve chosen, and that the space is suitable. TV dimensions can be found on the TV product pages.
- Ensure there’s a working plug socket within 1 metre of where your TV will be installed
- If you choose Collection and Recycling, you must perform a factory reset to wipe all the personal data on your TV, disconnect the cables, remove it from the wall (if applicable), and make it easily accessible for collection

What happens next?
We’ll email you to confirm we’ve received your order and are processing it, and then again when it’s left our warehouse and reached our partner,
AIT Home Delivery.
AIT Home Delivery will then be in touch by SMS and Email to confirm your delivery date, and will contact you on the day before delivery with an estimated time one-hour delivery slot, which they will confirm on the day of delivery.
