How to screen mirror laptop to TV?
Screen mirroring (also known as screen sharing and screen casting) your laptop to a Samsung Smart TV is a great way to enjoy your favourite movies, TV shows, and other content on the big screen. Thankfully, it's relatively easy to do, regardless of whether you have a Windows laptop or an Apple MacBook. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps on how to screen share your laptop screen to a Samsung Smart TV.
Check your TV and laptop connectivity
Before you begin, make sure your laptop and Samsung Smart TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This is important as it allows your laptop to communicate with the TV wirelessly. Also, ensure your Samsung Smart TV has screen sharing capabilities, which can be found in the user manual or by checking the TV's settings menu.

Troubleshooting tips

- Ensure that both your laptop and Samsung Smart TV are updated with the latest software updates.
- Restart your laptop and Samsung Smart TV and try again.
- Try resetting your Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure that you're within range of your Wi-Fi network.
- If you’re unable to screen share wirelessly, you can also connect your laptop to TV using a wired method. Simply connect your laptop or MacBook to your TV using an HDMI cable and switch to the correct source on the TV to enable screen sharing. (Please note, to do this you may also need an HDMI adaptor* if your laptop or MacBook doesn’t already have a standard HDMI port.)
