What to do when a Samsung Galaxy Watch app crashes, freezes, or won’t respond
If an app on your Samsung Galaxy Watch crashes, freezes, or won’t respond, the steps provided below can effectively resolve the issue. Follow the instructions to ensure your watch functions properly again.
Galaxy Watch software updates help remove potential software issues that may have been causing your apps to malfunction.
* Make sure your watch is already charged before restarting it.
* Connect your watch to Wi-Fi or to your phone using Bluetooth before proceeding.
Apps can be removed from your Galaxy Watch by accessing the Galaxy Wearable app on the phone connected to your watch, or you can use your watch directly.

A factory reset may be necessary if your Galaxy Watch is not responding. Make sure to back up your data using the Galaxy Wearable app before performing a reset so the data can be reloaded to your watch after the reset is complete. Samsung is not responsible for any lost data.
* Once the factory reset is complete, you will need to reconnect your Galaxy Watch to your phone, which will then automatically reload your watch’s data if you backed it up before the reset.
* Perform a reset to restore your watch to its default settings. Make sure to back up your data using the Galaxy Wearable app before doing so. After the reset, all settings and states will revert to their initial configurations.
