Mechanical malfunction or defects
If your device is experiencing a mechanical malfunction or defect, including battery failure, we'll repair it. There are no limits for service requests due to mechanical malfunction or defects, provided they are not protected by the manufacturer's warranty. A service fee applies to all service requests.
Up to 2 service requests per year for physical malfunction and liquid resistance failure
Make up to two service requests for physical malfunction and liquid resistance failure per year, to a maximum of four throughout the lifetime of the plan. A service fee applies to all service requests.

- # 2-Year Samsung Care+ protection begins on the date you purchase the Plan and ends the earlier of: (1) 24 months from the Device Purchase Date; and (2) the date this Plan is cancelled in accordance with Terms and Conditions of the 2-Year Samsung Care+. This Plan complements and is supplementary to the manufacturer’s warranty but does not replace the manufacturer’s warranty or warranty obligations during the manufacturer’s warranty period. - 1For Galaxy Z Fold Series devices, a service fee of $39 will apply to service requests for exterior screen-only damage. For Galaxy Z Flip Series devices, a service fee of $39 will apply to service requests for exterior screen-only or back glass-only damage. Devices with any other damage will be subject to the full Service Fee. The full Service Fee of $229 for Galaxy Z Fold Series devices and $149 for Galaxy Z Flip Series devices, as outlined in the table above, will be collected at time of service request. Upon inspection of your device, and confirmation of eligibility for the reduced service fee, a refund of the difference will be processed.
- ** The service fee, plus applicable taxes, applies to all service requests, and is payable when you submit a service request. All service fees are based on your device's tier at the time you purchased the plan.

What Samsung Care+ does not cover:The Plan does not apply to and We do not provide services for:
1. mechanical failures or defects or battery failures covered by the manufacturer’s warranty during the term of such warranty;
2. Devices with removed, altered or defaced serial numbers or International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers;
3. Devices used for commercial purposes, provided by You for use by the general public, or used for lease or rental. Use of a Device for these purposes will void this Plan;
4. Device malfunction resulting from intentional physical damage, abuse, misuse, or vandalism;
5. Device malfunction or damage resulting from repairs conducted by other parties;
6. Device malfunction or damage due to improper installation on, or improper equipment modifications to the Device;
7. Device where, for any reason whatsoever, we are unable to validate the IMEI or serial number of the Device including but not limited to intentional or accidental damage such as Device being crushed, bent, falling from heights such as balconies or windows, being run over or falling from moving vehicles;
8. lost or stolen Devices;
9. lost end-user replaceable parts;
10. Devices purchased as used recertified, or refurbished devices;
11. minor imperfections in devices that meet design specifications or cosmetic damage (including but not limited to scratches and dents) that do not affect functionality of the Device;

Register your new Galaxy device in our Samsung Care+ online store within 60 days of Purchase Date. Log in and enter your IMEI number, then select the Samsung Care+ plan for your device. Navigate to the checkout page and purchase your Samsung Care+ plan.
2. Samsung Experience Stores
Visit the Samsung Experience+ Store nearest you. A Samsung professional will help you purchase Samsung Care+ at the same time or with in 60 Days of your new Galaxy device purchase date.

To make a claim or check your coverage, you'll need your 15-digit IMEI number ready. Here’s how to find it:

3. How much is the Samsung Care+ Plan?The Samsung Care+ Plan purchase price varies by device type. The Plan purchase price, plus applicable taxes, is payable when You purchase the Plan. Refer to the applicable section above for the Plan purchase price for Your Device.

4. How can I enroll in Samsung Care+ Plan?Enrolling is simple! You may enroll online or at the Samsung Experience Store when you purchase your applicable Galaxy Smartphone, Laptop, Tablet, Hearable or Wearable device. You can also purchase the Samsung Care+ Plan (“Plan”) within 60 days of your device purchase date. If you do not purchase the Plan at the same time as you purchase your Galaxy device but purchase the Plan within the 60 days following your purchase date, a 25-day waiting period will apply before you can request services under the Plan. If you purchase the Plan from Samsung.com/ca, your device must have been registered and activated with a Canadian wireless service provider within the sixty (60) days of the device purchase date. Your protection begins on the date you purchase Samsung Care+, and ends up to 24 months from the device purchase date, unless the Plan is cancelled earlier in accordance with the Samsung Care+ Terms and Conditions.

8. Customers are given 60 days to purchase the Samsung Care+. Is there a possibility of extension if I was not aware of the services?No. There will not be an extension of the 60-day period for purchase of Samsung Care+.

9. How do I submit a service request for my damaged or defective device?Call Us at 1-877-699-1356 , 24 hours / 7 days per week (including holidays) to initiate a service request. You may be eligible for same day repair at one of our specified service locations. You may be required to provide the original Confirmation Letter for the device or any other information We may reasonably request.

10. Can I terminate my Samsung Care+?You may cancel this Plan within the first 30 days from the date You purchased the Plan. You may be entitled to a refund as follows:
1. if You have not obtained services under the Plan, You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Plan.
2. If You have obtained services under the Plan, You will receive a refund of the purchase price of the Plan, less the cost of services received (unless otherwise prohibited by law).
After the first 30-day period, You cannot cancel the Plan and no refund will be provided (unless otherwise prohibited by law).
Quebec Residents: In circumstances where this Plan is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, this section does not apply to You, and You may cancel this Plan in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec. -
11. Will I get full refund if I did not register any service request under my Samsung Care+ Plan?No, you are not be eligible for refund if you did not make any service request during the entire duration of the Plan.

What will happen to my Samsung Care+ in the event that I lose my registered Samsung Galaxy device?Samsung Care+ is a premium value-added service that is tied to the IMEI number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device. In the event you lose your registered Samsung Galaxy device, we will not be able to deliver the services to your registered Samsung Galaxy device.

13. I lost my registered Samsung Galaxy device, and in replacement bought another eligible Samsung Galaxy device. Will the Samsung Care+ I bought earlier cover my new Samsung Galaxy device?No. Samsung Care+ is tied to the IMEI number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device and is non-transferable. We encourage you to purchase a new Samsung Care+ for your new eligible Samsung Galaxy device.

14. Can I use the services under Samsung Care+ Plan for another Galaxy device?No. Samsung Care+ is tied to the IMEI number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device and is non-transferable. You can only use the Samsung Concierge service for the registered Samsung Galaxy device.
