How to connect your Samsung TV to the internet?

Just when you thought your Smart TV couldn't get any smarter, it turns out it can access the internet too. If you connect the TV to Wi-Fi or a wired network, you can download apps, stream your favorite shows, search for information online, and so much more.

Connecting to Wi-Fi is the easiest and most seamless way to access the internet on your TV. Ensure you have your wireless network name (SSID) and password before trying to connect.

  1. Use the directional pad on your TV's remote to go to Settings.

  2. Navigate to and open All Settings.

  3. Find and select Connection.

  4. Choose Network from the Connection menu.

  5. Click on Open Network Settings.

  6. Select Wireless as the connection type.

  7. Pick your Wi-Fi network from the list.

  8. Enter the network password if prompted, then press Go, and confirm by selecting OK.

To find the MAC address on your Samsung Smart TV, open the Settings menu, select Support, and then select About TV or Contact Samsung. You may need to scroll down to display the MAC address.
