Why is Bixby Quick Commands not working, and why have the feature menus disappeared?

Last Update date : 2025-01-28

The Quick Commands feature previously supported by Bixby is no longer available on the Galaxy S25 and later models running One UI 7.0 and the Bixby 3.0 app.

Alternative: Modes and Routines

On devices with One UI 7.0 or later, you can achieve similar functionality by adding multiple Bixby commands to the 'Ask Bixby' action within Routines. By calling the created routine with a Bixby action, you can execute several commands, just like with Quick Commands. Routines also let you integrate other actions along with Bixby commands for more customization.

How to Create a Routine

1 Go to Settings > Modes and Routines > Routines.
2 Tap the '+' icon.
3 Add conditions (If).
4 Add actions (Then) > Bixby > Ask Bixby > enter commands
  • For devices with One UI 7.0 or later: Add multiple commands.
  • For devices earlier than One UI 7.0: Add a command with two or more intentions.
5 Tap Done > tap Save to complete.
6 Set a name/icon and tap Done.

Note:

  • Bixby app: Affected from version 3.0.
