What are the specific differences of the battery protection options
From the One UI 6.1 SW update, you can select various battery charging options for more customized purposes with Basic, Adaptive, and Maximum to protect the battery. Previously, it was limited the maximum charge to 85% after being enabled in the Protect battery mode.
1: Basic: This option allows for standard charging without any restrictions, offering the fastest charge without considering battery longevity.
2: Adaptive: The Adaptive option optimizes charging patterns based on your usage habits, ensuring the battery charges efficiently while maintaining its health over time.
3: Maximum: This setting maximizes battery protection by limiting the charge to 85%, which helps extend the overall lifespan of the battery.
- Previously, the Protect Battery mode only limited the maximum charge to 85%, but with the new update, you can choose the best option based on your needs.
- Open Settings
- Go to Battery.
- Select battery protection.
- Tap to enable and select your preferred option.
