How to use the Wireless power sharing feature on your Galaxy Device

Samsung provides wireless charging options to keep your devices powered without the need of cables. With features like Wireless power sharing, you can charge compatible phones, smartwatches, or earbuds by placing them on your Galaxy phone. Follow the guide below for setup instructions and further information.

Activate Wireless power sharing to charge another device using your phone’s battery. Ensure the devices are properly aligned for a stable connection, as coil locations may vary.

Turn on Wireless power sharing

Step 1. Open Settings > Tap Battery.

Step 2. Tap Wireless power sharing.

Step 3. Tap switch “On”.
* The Galaxy phone must be charged to at least 30% to turn the Wireless power sharing feature on.

Devices that can share power and can also be charged with Wireless PowerShare:

  • Galaxy S24, S24+, & S24 Ultra
  • Galaxy S23, S23+, & S23 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5
  • Galaxy Z Fold4 , Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Z Fold
  • Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Flip 5G, and Galaxy Flip
  • Galaxy S22, S22+, & S22 Ultra

Try these tips to optimise wireless power sharing:

  • Remove any accessories or covers that might obstruct the charging connection.

  • Do not move or use either device while charging.

  • Do not charge your device sharing power, as it may reduce charging speed or cause issues.

  • Make sure the phone-sharing power is sufficiently charged.
